Sara Ivester, CPA, PLLC is the successor firm to Calvert & Ivester, PLLC. Calvert & Ivester, PLLC was formed in 2011. Sara Ivester assumed the leadership role in 2016. When Calvert retired the name was changed to Sara Ivester, CPA, PLLC. This new firm remains committed to the quality work and relationships that have served our clients for many years.

Sara Ivester, CPA
(She/Her):
Sara graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Sciences in Business – Accounting in 2006. She has worked with local CPA firms since 2003 and became a partner with Calvert & Ivester in 2011. In 2016, she became the sole owner and created Sara Ivester, CPA, PLLC when her partner retired. She is experienced in small business tax issues, accounting and financial statement preparation.
Sara moved to Tucson with her family in 1980 and graduated from University High School in Tucson. Her family owns and operates a small HVAC business that she worked for during high school. Coming from a small family run business she understands the special needs that a small business faces.
Prior to working with local CPA firms, Sara worked as a Research Staff Intern for the Arizona State House of Representatives during the 2003 legislative session, researching
state legislation and presenting fact summaries to House Members. Additionally, she worked as an accounting software consultant for a local computer consulting company
and is versed in the operations of accounting software.
Sara is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA).

Tianna Liebeskind
(They/Them):
Tianna has worked and trained at Sara Ivester, CPA, PLLC since 2019. When they first began working for the firm, they worked seasonally doing basic tax input and scanning. In the summer of 2020, they began working full time
for the firm, expanding on their knowledge of tax preparation, bookkeeping and accounting services, and administrative duties. They are committed to friendly open lines
of communication, keeping clients’ information and documents organized and secure, and to supporting the firm in any other ways that they can. While most of their tax and accounting knowledge was learned on the job, they are always striving to continue
learning as much as they can.
They are currently enrolled at Pima Community College working towards an Associates of Science and hope to one day transfer to a university to complete their bachelor’s degree. Tianna are committed to serving their community as well, as they work with young students teaching them to read and write Hebrew. They are also working towards becoming fluent in ASL to better connect with the unique communities here in Tucson
and beyond.

Jill and Colleen provide the welcoming first face for our office group. Whether you are coming in to drop off your documents or pick up your completed return Jill and Colleen are prepared to help you. The rest of the time they are providing the staff with indispensable support to keep us focused on client needs.

Mini
(She/Her):
While not particularly adept at providing financial services, Mini serves as our office mascot and provides much needed support during the stress of tax season. Her top skills are taking naps and using puppy eyes to get treats. She is always eager to receive pets and provide an enthusiastic greeting to visitors.
